Indie Filmmaker, playwright and fiction writer LD Willis has dedicated her life to the creative and media arts. She is a graduate of the Creative Writing & Contemporary Media MFA program at Antioch University, Santa Barbara. She is the director and producer of Profiles: Women in the Arts and Technology NW, a docudrama shorts series on Public Access Television in Seattle. Novella excerpts from The Dakota Experiments, a science fiction transmedia series, placed as a finalist for the 2017 Fall Semester Reedsy National Creative Writing Scholarship. The one-act play Syllogism was produced in NYC, off-Broadway in 2004 and later published by independent publisher Create Space. She is currently finishing the pilot script for a private detective television series and an adaptation screenplay of her science fiction novella. Favorite book of all time: Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s One Hundred Years of Solitude.
